Overlay welding
Overlay welding is our strong point: this is a procedure in which a coating or a protective film is applied to a protective layer or a sub-layer, in order to reduce wear and tear or loss of material caused by abrasion, impact, erosion or friction. The welding overlay is traditionally carried out in the steel industry,metallurgy, processing machines, heat exchangers, lifting and moving materials in order to restore a mecchanical element that has worn out during its normal use
The welding procedures that we use are: TIG (manual or hot-wire semi-automatic),Electrode, automatic and semi-automatic MIG, MAG.
We mainly deal with:
- Anti-corrosion and anti-wear overlays
- Alloy overlays
- Dies
- High hardness material overlay (over 550 HB)
